What I currently know about the home visits is that a partner and I will be going into a families home once a week. We will come up with a lesson plan to help improve and help the infant develop according to the infant's and families needs. We can also work together with the parents and give them ideas to help improve their child's development also. I also know that these home visits will be doing along the lines of a child life specialist. These home visits will help us determine if this is something we want to do for our future careers.
